Referrals & funding
Good mental health care, within reach.
Whether you're a client working out your funding options or a practitioner referring a patient — you're in the right place.
Private paying
No referral needed — you're welcome to book directly as a private client. Private health insurance rebates may also apply depending on your level of cover.
Medicare — mental health care plan
With a GP referral and a Mental Health Care Plan, you can access Allied Health Medicare rebates for sessions with me.
Occupational therapists are registered Allied Health providers under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative — so yes, your OT sessions are Medicare-eligible.
Good to know
Rebates are available for eligible clients per calendar year. Both 30 and 50-minute sessions are covered. You claim directly through Medicare — I'll provide the receipt you need.
NDIS funding
I work with plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants. Mental health OT support is typically funded under Capacity Building — Improved Daily Living.
Sessions can be delivered via telehealth from anywhere in Australia, or as home visits, subject to consultation.
Bring to your first session
Your NDIS number, current plan details, and your plan manager's contact if applicable.
Accessible care
If you hold a concession card or are under financial pressure, please reach out. I'm genuinely happy to talk through what options might be available to you.
Send referrals through the online referral form — it takes a couple of minutes and captures everything I need to make contact with your patient.
For Medicare-funded sessions, please include the Mental Health Care Plan and referral letter. For NDIS participants, plan details and plan manager contacts are helpful.
If you'd prefer to talk it through first, you're welcome to call or email me directly.
