Mental Health Occupational Therapy for Pregnancy, Postpartum & Parenthood
A space to pause, unpack what’s been sitting with you, and feel a little more steady.
Ready to Rise offers mental health occupational therapy via tele-health across Australia and in person appointments in Melbourne. Whether you're navigating postpartum depression, pregnancy anxiety, birth trauma, the emotional weight of early parenthood, or having an identity crisis this is a safe space to land.
GP referrals welcomed. NDIS participants supported.
Partners included.
I support GP-referred and self-referred individuals — wherever you are in Australia.
Supporting individuals, partners & families through pregnancy, postpartum & early parenthood. Expert trauma-informed OT therapy, Australia-wide.
Many people seek support from a mental health OT alongside — or instead of — a perinatal psychologist, particularly when day-to-day life, routines, relationships, and functioning are part of what needs support. As an OT, I look at the full picture: not just how you're feeling, but how you're living.

Who we support
Supporting individuals, partners & families through pregnancy, postpartum & early parenthood. Expert trauma-informed OT.
I support GP-referrals, self-referred individuals and NDIS participants
As an Occupational Therapist, I look at the full picture — not just how you’re feeling, but how your mental health is impacting your daily life, routines, relationships, identity, and ability to engage in the things that matter to you.
Together, we explore what’s supporting your wellbeing, what’s getting in the way, and how your environment, responsibilities, and nervous system may be shaping your experience. The goal isn’t just to “cope” — it’s to help you build a life that feels more sustainable, meaningful, and aligned with who you are.
How it works
Getting started with Ready to Rise is simple.
To book, simply click the booking link and choose a time that feels right for you. Once your appointment is booked, I’ll give you a call for a brief intake chat before our first session.
This is a chance for us to gently explore what’s been going on for you, what support you’re looking for, and answer any questions you may have.
From there, sessions can take place via telehealth Australia-wide, in person in Essendon, or through home visits where appropriate.
Therapy at Ready to Rise is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your life.

About Your Perinatal Mental Health Specialist
I’m Kelsey Crosling, a registered Mental Health Occupational Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting women and families across both public and private mental health settings. My work has included public Mother Baby Units, a women’s acute psychiatric unit, and ongoing contract work with the Gidget Foundation Australia.
I now specialise in perinatal mental health, supporting people navigating the complex emotional, relational, and identity shifts that can come with pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood.
Beyond qualifications and clinical experience, I know how powerful it is to feel genuinely seen and understood during this season of life.
Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you deserve support that considers the full picture — your mental health, your nervous system, your relationships, your daily life, and the person you are beyond the roles you hold.

Is this for you?
These sessions might be right for you if you're:
• Pregnant, postpartum, or parenting and feeling stretched beyond capacity
• Navigating postpartum depression, postnatal anxiety, or birth trauma
• Struggling with the adjustment to parenthood — identity, relationships, sleep, all of it
• A partner or non-birthing parent who also needs support
• An adult managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, or another mental health concern
• An NDIS participant looking for a mental health occupational therapist
You don't need to arrive with a clear diagnosis or a goal in mind. Sometimes the first step is just showing up.
